Our main courses were all very good. We ordered crispy shrimp tacos (excellent), chicken tacos (well reviewed), and smash burger (also well reviewed). Would have preferred the burger with no bacon (no substitutions), he pulled the bacon off. We didn't understand why the fried pickles were served in a puddle of brown gravy. A great experience overall, and we'll go back -- just not for fried pickles. :)

Food was fabulous! Our lunch was delicious (didn't think of getting a picture until we were wiping the plate!). Split the desert and wish we had gotten our own it was so good. The chef is amazing! The menu contains a wide variety of "bar foods" like burgers and sandwiches but with an innovative twist that take these dishes to another level. The chef understands how to let certain flavors stand on their own and but also how to enhance other flavors to bring out the best in the food. While eating the burger, I think I may have moaned. Keep it up, we will be back!

We stopped in here on the recommendation of a family member. It’s been a long time since we visited the area, so we figured we would give it a try, and to our surprise the Lost Lion is a diamond in the rough! WOW, what an amazing experience and the food is exceptional. It’s situated behind a retail complex on Main St in downtown Westminster, so don’t rely on your GPS to get you there. The entrance is on the back of the building, but their signage made it easy to locate. There is ample parking directly adjacent to the restaurant, which is nice because on-street parking in Westminster can be an issue at times. The best way to describe the Lost Lion is “cozy”. It’s a quaint space with outdoor seating for warm weather months, which we definitely look forward to this summer. The menu is very eclectic and not what we expected. The appetizer portions are very generous, so plan accordingly when ordering. We had the Meatballs, Scooby Snacks, Grilled Cheese Popper and oysters. Apparently, the menu changes based on the season so be prepared for specials throughout the year. The meatballs are the size of a lacrosse ball and very filling, and the Grilled Cheese Popper was a meal in itself. Our entrees were tuna tacos, grilled chicken arugula salad, and burgers. All of them were amazing and worth every penny. One thing to note – the meals are prepared “as is”, so there are no substitutions or special orders. Normally, I tend to shy away from establishments like this, but the chef here knows what he is doing because all the meals were prepared to perfection. The most impressive thing about the Lost Lion was the selection of bourbon they offered. If you are a bourbon drinker, you will find one of the best selections of bourbon in the area. I have been to four and five star restaurants that didn’t have the selection the Lost Lion offered. I was shocked at the diversity of brands they stocked, so if you like bourbon, you are going to love this place! The service in smaller establishments is always an issue, but the staff at the Lost Lion was the best I’ve experienced in a long time. Every beverage was refreshed regularly, food orders were prepared in a timely manner and the table was cleared after each course. There isn’t much more you can ask for from a staff and you can tell they are very experienced in the hospitality industry. More importantly, everyone was so friendly!!! Apparently, this location has gained a large following recently, so call ahead for reservations. Make sure to put this on your “Hit List”, it’s well worth it.

I've lived in Carroll county for 15 years and this was one of the best meals I have ever had. The people and food were top tier. Everything that our server Emily recommended was amazing. They care about each drink and dish that they makes and it shows. I'll be a regular customer from now on. If you're ever in the area this is a musy.

Food is excellent, drink selections cover a lot of ground and the service is exceptional. Family-owned business that gives back to charity. Opens at 4pm and no reservations accepted. The bar is rarely full so there is a backup if the tables are full. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Lost Lion made a fantastic first impression! While we didn't have the opportunity to try the food this time around (we went after we just ate), the atmosphere alone was enough to guarantee a return visit. The staff were incredibly welcoming and handled our large party with ease, which is always appreciated. The drinks were excellent – well-crafted and reasonably priced. We're already looking forward to coming back and trying the food, but based on the great service and vibe, we know we won't be disappointed!

First time here but it won't be last!! delicious food and great service. We were greeted right away and our waitress was super helpful. She suggested we pick something from their daily specials menu as everything on there was made by the chef. The food was amazing and the flavors were so creative, we couldn't decide what to pick and kept ordering more items. Highly recommend the shrimp grilled cheese, phyllo dough pizza and the Cajun Rockfish.

Excellent staff and the kitchen know how to make the flavor dance. They adapted my dinner for KETO Lifestyle and held the roll and hash. Friendly service and very positive vibes from staff and other patrons. Plenty of parking in the Westminster City parking lot. Look for the big chimney which says Sherwood, then walk in the opposite direction to 27 East Main Street Rear. You' ll love it. The Kitchen staff is the best in the region. giving you flavor and bouquets that exceed expectations. Visit today for the best food and atmosphere. Every visit is excellent. Amazing place...very much liked. Best restaurant in region. Superb menus.
